BCKC had to win the ‘Champions Trophy’ tournament to secure a place in the NL next year. With an excellent team performance throughout the tournament they showed that they belong in the NL. Birmingham City retained their premier league status by winning all their 4 games.
Birmingham won against Cambridge Tigers (8-4), Manchester Warriors (15-5), Bristol Thunder (19-3) and Highbury (9-4).
Female top scorer of the tournament was our own coach/player Jess Beale. The club also received the fair play award from England Korfball.
