This weekend marks the first time in the club’s history that 4 teams play in the space of 2 days.

Tonight sees the 3rd team travel away for a late evening game against Nottingham Magic 1s. Captain Jacob Warner will lead out the side, hoping to secure their third win of the season, having beaten Magic’s second team only last week.

On Saturday the afternoon begins with the 3rd team playing against Warwick at Selly Park Technology College, where the fans will quickly depart to ensure they arrive in time at the Sir Doug Ellis Woodcock Sports Centre for the 1st teams’ opening home game of the season against National League stalwarts, Nomads Korfball Club, at 15:00pm.

After this, the 2nd team take on local rivals University of Birmingham 1s in which Brum City’s Adam Waide will play against the team he coaches.

Further to the excitement on the court, the committee have spent their evenings in front of hot ovens as they have all baked goods to sell throughout the course of #SuperSaturday.

The evening will finish with food, drinks and making new friends with all involved.
