The Club Meeting is an opportunity for our new COVID-19 Officer to explain the adaptations to the sport following the approval of the England Korfball Return to Play Plan. Including new safety precautions and a chance to answer any questions you may have ahead of our first outdoor session.

See our Facebook group for more info on how to attend both the meeting and training.
The schools are going back, the days are getting s The schools are going back, the days are getting shorter and the heating is on. Usually we would be getting back to training and gearing up for our taster sessions but unfortunately, to stay within government guidelines, our plans are on hold as we wait for approval of the EKA's Return-To-Play plan. Until then we are unable to organise indoor training in any capacity. In the meantime the club has arranged for fitness sessions to help us get back up to speed after lockdown. These sessions will take place over Zoom on Thursday's at 7pm. If you are interested in taking part please leave us a comment below and we will make sure to add you to the WhatsApp group. We are still keen to welcome new players to the club so if you would like any more information about our plans or the sport in general please get in touch.
Finally the club would like to announce Merrick Ll Finally the club would like to announce Merrick Lloyd as it’s very first Welfare Officer.

It was decided by vote at the club’s AGM earlier this month that the position will be separate to the committee. This role is intended to provide a way for club members to communicate with the committee regarding any issues or concerns without approaching the committee directly.

Merrick has played for The Bulls since 2014 and started playing korfball whilst at the University of Birmingham. As a popular and friendly face around the club we’re sure that Merrick will prove to be a great Welfare Officer.
The club are pleased to announce that Stewart McCo The club are pleased to announce that Stewart McCoverny will be filling our new role of Fundraising Officer for the upcoming season.

Stew has been playing korfball for 7 years having started whilst studying at the University of Nottingham. Stew has been a firm fixture in The Bulls first team since 2015 as well as being a former club president. Stew is most looking forward to competing in the National League once again.

As the driving force behind much of the club’s fundraising over the past few years the club are excited to have Stew take up this brand new position.
Next up we have our Social Sec’s Sarah Morris an Next up we have our Social Sec’s Sarah Morris and Alex Seabright.

Sarah joined The Bulls towards the end of last season and has been playing korfball for two seasons after deciding she wanted a change from playing netball and wanted to meet new people. She hopes that her position on the committee will help her get to know everyone in the club and also organise some fun socials for new and existing members. Sarah is looking forward to improving her game through the quality coaching and playing for BCKC in our friendly tournaments throughout the year.

After a short break from Social Sec duties Alex rejoins the committee eager to organise some great nights out for the club. As Alex was the only member not to supply a photo we have taken the liberty to choose our favourite – swipe for an image you will never be able to unsee 😳
The club are delighted to announce Rick Scowcroft The club are delighted to announce Rick Scowcroft as Fixtures Coordinator.

Rick is a BCKC legend and has over 17 years of korfball experience. The club are in safe hands with Rick organising the fixtures especially as we embark on our return to the National League.

Sinéad has played korfball for 4 years and her favourite korf memory is when she played at the Edinburgh tournament with The Bulls in January 2019.

Sinéad believes that the best things about BCKC are the friendly the people, coaching for players at all levels and the opportunity for everyone to play competitive games.

Sinéad is most looking forward to celebrating the clubs 15th anniversary and watching some top level matches as our 1s venture back into the national league.

Next up is our treasured Treasurer Ross Freeman. A Next up is our treasured Treasurer Ross Freeman. After doing such a fantastic job last year we’re thrilled to have him on the committee again.

Ross has played korfball for 5 years and started playing whilst at the University of Exeter. His favourite korf memory is from BUCS where his uni team used the final game to make sure every player had scored at least once in the tournament.

Ross believes that the breadth of experience we have at BCKC and the willingness to involve others is the best thing about the club. He’s also looking forward to celebrating the club’s 15 year anniversary with our first team returning to the national league.
